This shot is a little blurry, but I snapped it real quick at the mall today. Dyllan and I took a trip to KOP to take care of some overdue errands. I have to tell you that I'm now in LOVE with Nordstrom. If any of you have been unfortunate enough to have to listen to me gripe about how hard it is to find places to nurse in public you know how I can go on and on about it...but to me it's one of the hardest things about breastfeeding. I know I need to get more bold and just use the nursing shawl that I borrowed from a great friend, but I'm still a little uncomfortable in very public places...especially since Dyllan is so huge that her legs hang way out of it and she likes to kick a lot (trust me, I've gotten some crazy looks!) Well, any moms out there who aren't already familiar with this spot, here's my tip: the second floor bathroom at Nordstrom has this "Mother's Room" that not only has a comfy chair and couch for feedings, but a sink and an AWESOME changing table, which even has a wall as a barrier and nice plush pad (see how much Dyllan enjoyed it in photo above!) I despise the changing tables that come out of the wall and are so narrow that I press my whole body against it in case Dyllan ever decided to do her first "rollover." Never thought I'd get so excited about a changing table, but this made life so much easier. If only more stores and other public locales had places like this! Shout out to Nordstrom! I cannot afford your clothes, but I'm very grateful that you cater to moms.
