Bang Trim

Two weekends ago Dyllan had another important "First" that I forgot to highlight on the blog...her first haircut! It was just a bang trim, but it was quite necessary as her bangs had grown to cover her eyes. Aunt Sherri did the cut and Dyllan was a good girl in Daddy's lap!

Our new niece!

I mentioned her yesterday, and here she is! (For those of you who don't read the Kilian's Blog, since I took these from there!!) This is our beautiful niece, Kendall Jordyn Kilian. Katie is doing well and now home with baby. We are so excited for their new addition...

Welcome Kendall!!

First off, exciting news!! We had another little girl join the family on September 10. Joe's sister Katie had her baby Kendall. We are so excited for Katie, Kyle & Casey as they welcome their little girl home.

That was certainly the big news of the week. Dyllan continues to do "more" each day. She's pulling up to stand on anything she can get her hands on and our baby-proofing efforts are expanding each day based on all the news things we find her getting into. Today Dyllan and I attended "Baby Bash," which was a great party idea by my new friend Cat. She's a friend of a friend and invited a bunch of young moms and moms-to-be over to her house in Ardmore. It was great to connect with some other young moms. A pic of some of the kids below...

On the Go!

I recently picked up a walker for Dyllan at a Kid's Consignment sale. Cleaned it up real nice and it looks brand new! She's definitely gotten my 10 bucks worth already...running all around the house in it! She loves being mobile. Will try to get some video!

So much fun...

We have to close off the kitchen gates to keep Dyllan safe...and to protect Lucy's tail, which in addition to our toes, has gotten run over a few times...

Going full-speed ahead...

Indestructible!

My cousin got Dyllan this "Indestructibles" book which is rip-proof, waterproof, chew-proof, etc. She's really put it to the test and so far it's held up great! At restaurants she loves to play with the menu, but we always have to take it away, so this has been great to give her. Check them out here.
