Big Girl

Dyllan is getting so big. We don't have another appointment where she will be weighed for quite some time, but I'm pretty certain she's got to be over 15 lbs at this point. Linz started a "stroller fitness" class at the Y this week and D is the same size as some of the older babies. She also had to be the one baby that required Mom to leave the class b/c she demanded to be fed.

Dyllan is now 9 1/2 wks old and we found out on Monday that she weighs 14 lbs! She's growing fast!!

Busy Busy!

We had a busy weekend and now the start of the week is turning out to be equally as busy! We enjoyed a trip to the Lehigh Valley this weekend for some time with Joe's family and the Radomski's. Then on Monday, Linz and Dyllan met some new friends- Allison and Brady. Allison's parents live right across the street from Linz's parents and she had her baby boy just one month after D was born. Then last night a good friend from high school, Diana, stopped by to meet Dyllan. Today things are starting off just as busy with D's 2-month doctor's appt and a busy afternoon and week ahead....

We had a busy week here at the Getz household. Dyllan is doing well and growing SO fast. On Thursday night my great friend Nic came down for some dinner and Dyllan time. Then tonight we had a nice visit with Joe's Nana and Dad ("Pop"). Though D is going through a fussy period where evenings have been a bit rough at times, we decided to give dinner out a shot. She did pretty well until the end when she seemed very bothered by something (it turned out to be the explosive diarrhea that had soaked through her clothes). We've only had two poop-through-the-outfit instances so far and of course BOTH had to be times we were out of the house. But fortunately lugging around that hefty diaper bag really does have a purpose and Mommy got her into some comfy PJs in the restaurant's bathroom, pronto!

Baby Love

Today Dyllan and I got together with the girls I met from my prenatal class at the Y again. Keep in mind that Aubrey is 4 months and Jackson is 3 months (and of course D is not even quite 2 months) and yet she's bigger than Jackson and almost as big as Aubrey!!!

Everyone always tells me how much D looks like her daddy, but I don't think I saw it so much until I looked at this picture below. You can definitely see the resemblance....
